This is listed as books 1-5, but it is really only one 190-page book. I thought that I was buying a series of books for my granddaughter's birthday. She likes the Babysitter Club book series, so I thought maybe she would like this too. We shall see.
My 10 year old girl loved this series and was eager to purchase 6-7. She is a big Dork Diary fan but these books are more mature and are written in a more formal style. The books are larger than most and have slightly larger print for easier reading.
Bought it for my 10-year-old niece and she read it for six hours in the car! You can bet she will get more. She's a girl with tons of energy who I never thought would enjoy reading. She even read out load to her 5-year-old brother until he fell asleep.
My daughter gets bored of books easily. She finally is reading on her own, no complaints. Thank you! Loves the first book! My only wish is that the kindle app could correlate into traditional pages read instead of digital percent read for her homework reading log. Not sure how many "real" pages the books are.
